It's a 1990 FXR (The Super-Glide), the precursor to the Dyna-Glide available today.
When I had my '87 Savage, I did a lot of riding with a buddy who had an '87 Sporty 883 and the two bikes were very compatible. Same cruising range, etc. He eventually got tired of buying chains and sprockets and converted his chain drive to belt at about 40,000 miles. The Sporty is over 100,000 miles now and still on the first belt.
